Ethics & Code Of Conduct
(please read)
Understand that the teachings you are about to receive are ancient temple and monastery teachings that appeared thousands of years ago. These teachings were handed down from Master to student to ensure that they were received in their original and purist form. The student apprentice was then forbidden to teach these until such a time that the Master deemed him knowledgeable and capable to do so. Even then, for a number of years he was carefully watched to ensure safety and proper transmission of these sacred teachings. This process protects teachings, teachers, and students because of the powerful nature of these techniques.
Ego has no place in these teachings. When ego enters, there is severe potential for distortion of teachings, harm for student and teacher, and a blemish upon the Master as well as his lineage. One manifestation of ego is when students, without acknowledgment from the Master, call themselves teachers and publicly teach without consent. This is a severe breach of the student code of ethics. Protocol and good fellowship have been broken.
Today in the West there are few true Masters who have been trained in monasteries and temples in the East, and given the task of transmitting these teachings to the Western mind.
This class will be advanced teachings. These are closed-door teachings. Keep them behind the door. We ask that strict protocol and high standards of ethics be observed. These teachings are not to be transmitted in whole or part without guidance or permission from the Master. This will ensure proper fellowship with the school.
Remember, you must respect and honor the small things to be entrusted with the great.
